How to Add Google Analytics to Blogger

Google Analytics is a website traffic tools that helps monitor your website traffic in detailed. It's a fundamental element if you want to get sponsorships or advertisements on your blog. Since Blogger.com is part of Google company, they have made it super easy to add Google Analytics to Blogger.

Hence, if you are here to take blogging seriously, installing Google Analytics in your Blogger is a must. To guide you with the process, I provided you a complete step-by-step process below.


STEP 1: Setup Your Account on Google Analytics

  1. Go to Google Analytics web page.
  2. Create your account using the same gmail you used from Blogger.com.
    • Setup your account. Enter your account name.
    • What do you want to measure? Click "Web" 
    • Setup your property/ website. Enter your Website Name, URL, Industry Category and Timezone for accurate reports.
    • Accept all Terms of Service Agreement.
    • Check all box from "My Email Communications"
  3. Copy the Tracking ID displaying on the page.

STEP 2: Install Google Analytics on Blogger

  1. Log in to your Blogger account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click Others.
  4. Scroll down to see "Google Analytics" section. Then, paste your Tracking ID.
  5. Click "Save settings" button at the top right of the page.


You have now successfully added Google Analytics to Your Blogger Blog!
