Why Dreams Do Matter in Life
I honestly don't know how to start blogging again... but let me just start from where I ended last time.
If you haven't read my previous blog, I shared that I honestly got lost in life. Well, I cannot say I also lost my two years. But those two years made me who I am now. I already learned a lot of life lessons for just a span of two years, especially when I started facing the real world – getting job right after graduating in college. It will been a year since I started working for a company which made me more lost. Why? I’ll tell you later in this blog.

Right after graduating in college, all my dreams vanished in an instant and has been replaced of everyone’s pressure. All eyes were on me and thrown lots of life questions which I cannot answer confidently because neither I am confident with what I really want in life.
I got job which I never ever expected to have – although it earns a lot too, but I am not happy with my work life. It’s not the job and work life I ever dreamt to have. Although I am thankful with the opportunity; I did adjustments of course, but I realized I was just sacrificing my happiness in which, at some point, also damaged my mental health.
Now, I am here to remind everyone, make your dreams matter because dreams do really matter.
Although I got lost at some point in life, but I know it is not yet too late for me to remind again myself of my dreams. Now, all I have to do is preserve to achieve my dreams. The important lesson I also learned from this was even though there are lots of opportunities, I have to evaluate and re-evaluate if those opportunities I will take would help me achieve my dreams and goals.
But I was suddenly reminded by Confucius famous saying, that “Wherever you go, go with all your heart.”

However, if we don’t know where we are going, we might be able not get there.
That’s why dreams do really matter because dreams represents our destinations. So if we distinguished our dreams – what life we want to have, for sure, we would undoubtedly know where we are going.
Although some of our dreams seems impossible right now, but let us all remind ourselves that impossible is also “I’m Possible”. Yes, we are possible to make our dreams come true.
Well, the reality is there are no perfect and easy roads towards our dreams. No matter how long it take us will take and no matter how rough the road will be, but with hard work and patience, everything will be possible.
Our dreams might also change according to our situations – we might get influenced, distracted or even judged by others, but if we hold on to our dreams very tightly and if we badly want it to happen, it will definitely happen.
