Darren & JK Mini Concert in Malolos

Darren & JK

Honestly speaking, this was my first time to a concert, although this was just a small concert, but it is still a concert! Even this concert was just held by the state university, still, my favorite phenomenal young singers —Darren and Juan Karlos, were the main guests that we all went for!

I never expected that I would have a chance to attend a concert with my two best friends, 'cause to be honest, I have no money to buy a ticket this time although a VIP ticket only was worth P500. You know, I am not rich tho, so they suggested me to buy General Admission instead which is worth P150 only, but hearing that, I hurriedly said "No." because I will not go if ever that I won't be with them on the seats and would not be able to see them so close.

Then, a miracle just happened. Leila's father was so kind and generous that he let me to borrow some money so I can be with them in this concert. He was the one who paid my ticket at first and told me to pay whenever I already have money.

HOURS BEFORE THE CONCERT

We still have to go to class before going to the concert. But something bad just happened to me. I remembered, in morning, my two best friends were yelling that they have a VIP tickets for Darren &  JK's concert tonight. I just thought that they were just so happy and proud that they wouldn't be able to control their feelings, so they just let it out. But... after few hours, my ticket had gone missing, crazily we all look for it. When the class was about to dismiss and we already look everywhere and from every pieces of my things but still cannot find it, we already decided to tell our adviser.

"Walang uuwi hanggat hindi nakikita iyon!" [No one's going to leave until you find it.] She then exclaimed. She looks terribly mad. As a result, some kind of miraculous just happened. My sensored seatmate suggested to browse again my paper —that we've already been browsing for so many times even before we told our adviser— and the boom! She's was right! The ticket was hiding there!

Leila's father drove us to the place. The venue shown us a huge crowd. The lines from the entrance gate was super long. But all thanks to Leila's mother —one of the professor-in-charge for the event, we just went straight inside without even spending any few seconds to line up.

THE WAITING GAME BUT ALREADY AN ACTUAL CONCERT

Although we went inside early than what we expected, still, we waited super long —like an hour, I guess, but they just performed on stage less than thirty (30) minutes. They only two (2) songs for each.

But it's all fine because they also went down the stage while singing. It was super close to us, from where we are all sitting, literally from the first row! They are really cute in personal in my opinion ,especially Darren because JK's face was so very charming!

You know what, that P500 ticket fee was very worth it since we even got a chance to take a group photo with them but totally forgot to get their autographs since we overheard from the other staffs that they were on hurry. We were from the batch one who took a group photo with them.

EPIC MOMENT

Before the group photo session, we overheard that they were talking something like "bakit-ng-liit-ng-stage" ["Why the stage is narrow"]. Then for a second, I suddenly clicked my camera and unknowingly the flash was on! I thought they would get mad since they are talking something private but they quickly glanced at me and didn't get mad. So I just turned off my camera as sign of respect. Lol. Such an embarrassing moment in front of my idol. Ugh.
